Stolen phone

so i just got a new phone that cost me $200 bills and it got fucking stolen out of my jeans in my gym locker today

what are the best ways to find out where it is and who took it

and is there anyway of tracking it or something

im just soooo pissed right now sorry if this is dumb to anyone

If your school is small, you could always phone it at lunch when a lot of people are in the cafe. Or phone it while everyone is in the change room and listen?
Thats the only thing I can think of. :|

i guess there is.

police can track your phone if you do a number of criminal things. they also use it for recovering stolen ones.

for example: if i prank called a police station they could locate where the call was sent out.

but in reality they would be tracing my sim card and not the phone
cuz i could care less about paying $20 or w.e. for a new sim card rather than just throwing $200 for the phone and it to get stolen

if you didn't tell many people that it was stolen i got an idea. go around casually and be like does anyone have a phone i could buy i broke mine or something. Also if you have Verizon at least you can report it stolen and its no longer able to be activated

#1. Don't bring anything expensive to school, because it is super easy to break into school lockers. 

#2. Just keep asking around school to see if anyone has heard about anyone taking it.  I mean come on it's highschool... no one can keep a secret.

I was going to say, call AT&T immediately to report that it is stolen. They can cut off its service so that whoever stole it can't rack up charges. Verizon even waived the charges that they incurred when my phone was stolen.

Then report it as lost wherever you lost the phone. But other than that, you're pretty much out of luck. Although if it's an iPhone there's a chance Apple may be able to locate it.

just interogate the mexicans, the steal all the shit at our school. They stole my frinds ipod, changed the language to spanish (no joke) and claimed it theirs. Little did they know my friend still had his serial #

that's why i love the program i have on my BB. if i lose the phone or it's stolen i simply log into the website and it will find my phone using it's internal GPS. within a few meters. find the person that has it and fucking kill them.
