muzic when riding?

anyone successfully ride with a discman thru park and not have it skip. i did it for a few days, never skipped if i landed, but if i fell it would skip. then it broke, unrelated to skiing and i am way to poor to buy a minidisk player. any luck?

Go to walmart buy a 5 dollar tape player...if it breaks no big deal. If you are really poor thats the way to go.

go to overstock.com or ubid.com and look for mp3 playres or mini disc players, they work the best. and they usually have them at those websites for real cheap.

yeah, defintaley put in something surrounded with a wee bit of padding just to keep it tight in that little conatainer and then put in a tight, small pocket of what you're wearing, won't protect it more than normal but should stop the skipping, worked for me. Minidisks are really really good but yah, expensive.

if you have anything on under your jacket, put it in one of those pockets. keep it tight against you and your body will cushion it more than anything else. After buying skis and shit this season, i'm poor as hell too and I use my CD player up there, no problem if it's secure.
