ok so i built what i thought was gonna be the most legit setup i was capable of building. however when i got to try it i didnt have enough speed. my drop in is 8 feet tall witch seemed like plenty enough to get speed. im using only astroturf now. would the orange snowfence at least on the drop in ramp give me more speed? any other thoughts? thanks
yup^
You can use the orange fence for the top of your in-run. but a foot or 2 before your tranny make it stop becuase you have no control while on the orange fence. Also make sure your using a lot of soap and spraying it every 1 or 2 runs.
I got orange fence. It has kinda big holes. Should I put just one layer over the astroturf? Or shoudl I do more then one layer, or what. If anyone has a detailed picture of theres, i would appreciate it.
im on my laptop with 172 viruses so i cant do pictures. the best tool to have is a big construction stapler with around half inch staples. cut your turf to the dimensions of the wood youre laying it over, staple turf, lay 1 layer of fence, staple. 1 layer should do fine. the best thing to do would be to test it. worst case scenario you add another later over it. also the fencing helps for the landings
you can staple it down at a point where your skis wont go over the staples. and staple it down so its tight on the turf cuz u dont want the fencing to be moving.
this or you can wrap the fence around the side of the drop in, like the side of the actual down part and screw it into the side so that the screwes arent in your way and its secure
