Frogskins

ok so i am thinking of buying the purple grey and violet irdium 4 legged frogskins and wanted to see what they actually look like not the stock pic so if any of you NSers have the pair i am talking about i will give ++ k if i could see a real pic of them im sure at least one of you NSers have this pair so please help me out

i have the clear jupiters with violet iriduim lenses. theyre so fly, the lenses are fucking prime.

they have sunglasses just like frogskins that are super cool. and are only $12!

but if your set on frogskins go with the frogskins.

thats just my 2ç

get frogskins. i ordered a pair of clear ones from ec and they sent me a pair of white ones. the edges started turning brown in a day when i wasnt wearing them at all. within a week the lenses started popping out. theyre not worth $12.

ok? like i said mine are holding up fine, they look sweet. are they as good as the frogskins? no

but did i spend triple digits on a pair of sunglasses like an idiot would? no

id say it was worth my $108. because if mine break that means i can buy 9 more pairs before i spend as much as i would on frogskins.

plus i doubt frogskins are that SUPER NICE quality, they are better than EC but $80 of that $120 is buying the name. dont deny it either

I got a pair of Kirra's frogskin-esque models, black frame with neon green over the ear things(anyone know the proper name? +k) for $15, they are holding up real well. Thats a link to pacsun's clearance sunglasses, which all happen to be Kirra.

I'm not a huge fan of the frogskins because of the cheap feeling, plastic frame. I got Ray Ban Wayferers instead, and would suggest getting those.

i love my ec headwear shades. paid $12 for mine and got a free beanie with my order! they still look brand new too. i tried on some frogskins the other day to see if i wanted to convert to the fad, and i didnt really like how they looked/felt but thats just my face so i guess it just depends...

ya ive tried on frogskins and echeadwear ones and the difference was literally none.

plus the ECheadwear ones i got came with a ballin lens and a beanie too!!!

also can you switch lenses in frogskins or not im almost positive you cant but i have seen some custom set ups cuz i know you can swutch the legs

yep, every pair of oakley sunglasses are designed so you can easily take out and replace the lenses. frogskins you pull the frame away from the lens and pop em out. put a positive red iridium in one eye and a blue iridium in the other and you've got yourself 3D frogskins!

I have a pair from the early 80's. They are seriously solid. Much better quality than the cheap stuff ray-ban makes now.

yeah my sister has the newer Wayfarers and the lenses are really cheap and crappy even the cheapest oakley grey lenses are way better
