Your Opinions on my Slideshow

We took loads of photos all over the last season and a few days ago I mangaged to edit a Slideshow concerning around 120 pictures and now I just wanted to know what you guys think about it:




If you have any ideas how I could have improved it -  other music choice, wrong picture reworking, ...
or you liked it, please comment.

Ah! No one said it yet! The black bars! It might be me, but I hate doing slideshows with the black bars from the images, I will always zoom in and pan more with the photo. I liked it though.

Nothing against you, but I think its funny know everyone always says crits are bad things. A lot of people ask about things to improve or a some critiques about it. Critiques are just people talking about your work, good or bad. Criticism is that bad/improve stuff.

Never step, get nice video, make a slideshow-video, ie get a stills and throw them in there, and then get video, on some of the videos, get a nice still frame then blend that into the video and you will have nice nice transition from photos to video.

i think that was the first slideshow i actually enjoyed. it just made me want to ski. like someone said the black bars. but its not that big of a deal.

i couldn't really tell if it was the cold, snowy day. but the camera you were using was just a little "whack" lookin.. i don't know why.. but only critique.... loved the slideshow by the way

Yea, I also think that criticsm is nothing bad, but a good opportunity to give feedback to the editor.
And without someone telling his own opinion it wouldnt be as much fun as it is to make such videos!

Glad you all enjoyed the Slideshow!

And with the Pow Video, I know the camera looks whack, but not really because of the camera, but more because of some capturing problems we had, somehow my firewire didnt work anymore and we had to took many steps to finally get the video on my pc.

Ill try to fix the problem with the black bars, tho its kinda hard cuz we had many pics which were upright, but I think if we talk about the quality of them it should also work to just zoom, so I have no black bars anymore!
