Kid in my science class punched a chick in the face

so like the title says this kid and a chick are argueing about sumthin during my fourth period  class hes callin her  bitch and shit like that then boom lays her out over a table wit a punch to the jaw. my science teech and me tackled the little fuck and now hes in jail.

Physically assaulting women is not ok. Sure, there are rare cases when it is warranted, but in general there is never a situation where it's alright. There are stupid bitches out there, but you have to be the bigger person and brush it off, who is going to make fun of you for not decking a girl?

The only time it's reasonable in my mind to hit/assault a girl is if she is trying to maim or kill you, i.e. coming at you with a knife, etc. Even then, all I'm gonna do is stop her from hurting me, not give her the same shit she's giving me.

what the fuck? why is it that people think a girl can't take a hit...?
i mean i'm not supporting spousal abuse or any abuse for that matter but seriously girls are just as capable of taking a punch. i've boxed/done muay thai for the past 4 years and i would love for someone to do that to me. such a double standard...guy hits a girl he's the worst person in the world but if a girl hits a guy its just gone with the wind.

this may be coming off COMPLETELY wrong but c'mon doesn't anyone else believe in talk shit, get hit?

Alright, I like your stance on this, but this is what gets girls beat up. That's awesome that you box and and know Muay Thai but if a well built dude lands a solid hit to your face, you're gonna go down. Most guys I know can take a hit but if you jack them in the face as hard as you can it's gonna take a second for them to recover. I'm sure you could fight smaller dudes but up against a well built guy who knows how to fight you wouldn't stand a chance.. Just sayin'.

Hahah I know..I'm not walkin around looking for fights. I only spar with girls except for my trainer. I know I could get my ass kicked easily by most guys and well even a bigger chick but still if i say something that deserves it well then I should get my ass handed to me. I've been hit in the jaw and well its slightly out of place now but that hasn't stopped me.

I guarantee if you said something sarcastic/disrespectful/rude to a grown man, and his response was to lay you out...you wouldn't be taking this position.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but think it through. Nothing a woman could ever say to a man would be justification for the man to physically relaliate.

I'm all for women being respected and treated equally, because honestly, mentally/socially speaking, we are equals. But physically? Absolutely not.
