so like the title says this kid and a chick are argueing about sumthin during my fourth period  class hes callin her  bitch and shit like that then boom lays her out over a table wit a punch to the jaw. my science teech and me tackled the little fuck and now hes in jail.

I'm 6'1" 200lbs. I could potentially kill a woman by hitting her in the face. If you start rationalizing situations where it's ok to hit a woman, where does it end?

I'm not saying women should have free reign in hitting men...in fact, I think any woman who hits a man as a reflection of her knowledge that he isn't 'supposed' to hit her back, is an evil manipulative bitch.

At most, I would physically restrain her/protect myself. Even if a woman out and out punched me dead in the face, I'm not hitting her back, because the result wouldn't be the same/equitable.

if a girl hits me first, she can expect to be hit back. there's no rationalizing it, special situations, or anything like that, if i'm physically attacked, i'm responding violently. if the bitch can't take a hit, she shouldn't have started shit.

What's your motivation?

Do you actually feel threatened? Is your well-being at stake? Or are you simply lashing out because your fragile pride has been dented?

If a woman hits a man, it is that man's right to protect himself by restraining her or by simply walking away. I'm not talking about legality, because I'm absolutely against any special laws protecting women (particularly when the woman is the instigator) But, as far as what's "right and wrong" in my head, hitting a female is universally wrong.

I only get physical when my safety, or the safety of loved ones is threatened...not to prove a point, or to "teach a lesson". In almost no situation can I conceive where a woman would have me fearing for my safety.

There is absolutely nothing glamorous or "cool" about fighting...there's never a happy ending. Anyone who is eager to fight either has severe emotional issues, or has never really been in a fight and takes cues from the TV.

I'd feel awful after laying hands on a female.

I suppose this is all a moot point as I the chances of me getting into a physical altercation with a female are non-existent.

Your posts in general sound so angry and hateful.

I know what compassion means... you're saying that the ability to feel compassion is what qualifies the nature of a true human being? Before I go philosophical on your ass and bring out fellas like Nietszche, there's an even simpler question: what does compassion have to do with any of this ? i've punched many guys in the face and i'm 5'1", and if a guy whos jacked and drunk punched me back i would definately have a broken face. so unless you think it's justifiable to beat children too, i think you all need to get your brains checked. i've had very valid reasons in my life for ever hitting someone, and i don't do that shit often. and it was always self defense.
i've even had chicks hit me in the face and i walked away. thats not being a pussy, that's power.

also, on the note of maturity, most people who are able to react will violence are not mature. it's a psychological fact.

problem is, at least in my case being 6'3" and over 250 lbs when i walk away i keep getting shit, it doesnt lessen it in fact gets worse...  and im talking about not reacting to dudes try to beat the shit out of me.  if i dont fight back ill end up in a goddamn hospital.

I am not in highschool anymore either and I believe that people (like you) who truly believe they are more "mature" than anyone else and are "the bigger person", are actually the most immature. cause with guys everything is a fucking competition...  probably the biggest reason i had and still have even after graduation more friends that are girls.....  i have only ever hit a girl once and thats cause she had a knife and was trying to fucking stab my best friend....
