I made a new ramp to go with my new, taller double barrel rails, and
i was trying to use some wood i already had left over so i tried to
make the ramp pretty short and ended up making the frame a little too
steep of an incline (i think). The jump frame is 4 ft long and about 20
inches high, with an angle of about 25 degrees where it leaves the
ground, like in this pic.
Is this tranny too steep? It looks really steep compared to the X factor i usually use with my shorter boxes like in this pic.
So, my plan to make the tranny less steep is to nail another piece of plywood to the bottom of the ramp, keeping it kind of floppy so it can be adjusted however. It would look sort of like this...
Is this a good idea? Has anyone done something like this? Or what is the angle of your jump where it meets the ground?
Thanks for feedback
