They're sick skis though. If you weigh enough/can ski well enough to throw them around you're going to love them. Awesome all mountain ski and if they're mounted right they are killer in the park too.
I picked up a pair on Monday my self. Sierra skis had them (and still does) for $200. I like a stiff ski, I only ride like 20% park and at 6' 190lbs a stiff ski is far superior every where else for me. I started skiing around the time the original Extremes came out and I always wanted them.
But i have ridden the Extremes half a season now and pretty stoked on them, wasn't at first since i have had the Disorderlys for the first part of the season.
At first they were pretty heavy and stiff but that's because i rode the lighter and softer disorderly first, then they were amazing, they are pretty flexy now and not as heavy as all the people have said.
overall a damn good ski for a bit bigger and intermediate/expert skiers.
while they may be stiff, they r still fun. as long as u mount them close, like 2 back, from center they will be good on jumps. and hey if they r good enough for pk they r good enough for u!
the extremes are a good ski, but not at all my favorite. they are definitely stiff, and they have some heft. I have a pair of Kamp K2 ones that are built a little diff, but are basically the same ski. they are slow and heavy on rails, and dont have the flex to really jib right (unless your heavier, im only like 160). However, where they do really shine is on larger jumps and high speeds. the stiffness and weight make them dead stable there, and if this is your first park ski itll be a good transition ski
