If you're looking to promote yourself in skiing, I'm definitely going to go ahead and vote on newschoolers.com.

Best way for an am to build themselves an underground reputation that can form into the foundation of an awesome career.

Wallisch, Walker, Martini, Cosco... just to name a few...

Newschoolers is the best fa show. Zapiks is a solid one though. I feel like it has to do with how good your edits are really though. The more views you get the more people know your name...

I would have to say NS.  From a personal standpoint, there isn't a better way to promote yourself as an unknown skier than Newschoolers.com

Sure skiing here would be the best way to promote but what about unicycling? Im a pretty serious unicyclist, trying to pick up sponsorship...

I hucked a 7 foot cliff, to give you an idea of the kind of rider I am on one wheel..

the best way to promote yourself online? maybe upload your videos on every single video upload website (the more mainstream the better imo), then email your videos to companies that you like. Then go ski and spend three days a week at your local mountain getting better and meeting a bunch of people who work there. try to get a job at a ski shop. do some networking within the industry.

but ya NS is a good place to start

Maybe try something that is not ski-gabber. But I would personally try sponsorhouse. Vimeo. And sending emails to reps.

to be completely honest the best way is too upload it to youtube or vimeo and then embed it too newschoolers if skiing recognition is even what your looking for. No add's quick view's on both site's. However i like posting it here to support the site and have a shot at video of the day.

The WORST way is to create a thread (or five) in SG and shamelessly promote your subpar edit and get defensive when people point out the video section and your average skiing. Theeen....claim you're giving up seeking sponsorship and doing it for the love, only to create two more "sponsor me" threads containing a "promo" that includes 75% of the shots in your last promo

Look at the threads that "East Coast Destruction", or whatever his name is, has created and use them as a guideline for what not to do.
