HELP me with my English final

Hey NS, so my English final as a senior is due Tuesday may 26th, and the assignment is as follows: As you approach the end of your adolescence, what advice do you have for those just entering this stage of life?  What are the important thing(s) you believe every newly-minted teenager should know and understand about adolescence?;  So basically what advice you guys have for the youngsters about to enter high school.  My teacher said to have fun with it, so i thought, why not make it an NS forum?  Keep it clean, and thanks for helping me out.

I guess the biggest thing is to just be your self... as dumb as that sounds its also the best advice. Don't worry about trying to fit in with a certain group... if you have to change who you are for them to accept you, they aren't worth your time because they don't like you for you.

Don't be too judge mental of others... everybody expresses themselves in their own ways. For all you know, that kid that wears a that kind of shirt or has their hair that certain style that you despise could very well have tons of things in common with you and you could end up getting along great but it never happens because you were too stubborn to give them a chance because of the way they look.

Having a few tight friends is good, but don't limit yourself to just them. Put yourself out there and try to become friends with lots of people. Be social!

I would honestly do exactly what she doesn't want you to do, but that's me.

I had a little assignment like this my senior year, nothing like a final though. I don't even think it was graded.

But I wrote to cheat, lie, be a general bastard except to the very few teachers that were worthy of your respect. Don't think twice about a decision because if you want to, when high school ends, you never have to speak to a single person from your school again if you don't want to. I told them to drink and smoke every weekend because it just isn't as much fun without the fear of being caught. I really just kept rambling on about doing as many things as possible that your parents and/or teachers wouldn't want you to do without getting caught. And if you can do this, you'll have the best high school experience ever.

My teacher despised me after writing this tread lightly if you choose this idea.

Not to be a dick, but this is your paper dude. Why do you think NS is supposed to help you? This is a paper on what you have learned and grown from in your adolescent years, and the assignment is to give advice based on that. Analyze your experiences throughout high school and based on what you find, start writing. If you can't think of one thing to tell up and coming teenagers, then I think you didn't have a very exciting/productive adolescence.

But really, I hate when teachers give such broad essay topics. It's just axing for the student to go on a mindless and incoherent rant. I would recommend taking one peice of and advice only, and sticking to it.

you are a dick, a have my own opinions of what i have learned from adolescence, but I just wanted some other opinions, oh and that's not the whole assignment.  I have to support my discussion with specific detail from course readings, and connect each piece of advice to Havighurst.  yeah, so your just doing maybe 20% of the work.
