Im organizing a protest

So my province ( New Brunswick ) decided to put in place laws that state - if you dont have your class 5 licence you have to be in with the car by 12:00 if your caught out -3 points and 272$ fine also you can only have 3 people in your car -3 points 272 fine if caught. Everyone at my highschool is outraged and the laws are supposed to come into affect june 1st but were moved back to october 1st. Soo me and a few friends have put the word out on facebook and are organizing a protest infront of the legislative building in st.john so far a about a few hundred people have clicked yes to join.Any advice and do i need to talk to the police if its going to be a peacfull demonstration

In the UK, we can drive at any time, with as many passengers as the car can hold /CLAIM

in bc before you have your class 5 your only allowed one passenger and you cant drive past 12.

its a good thing, stop complaining.

that's not true at all.
Go read the back of your N license again. you can drive when ever you want. I have been the DD many times (mainly because I am the only one of my friends who has a license), but you can drive at any time of the night. That might be the rules of the L license, no driving between 12am-5am.

The one passenger rule is to apparently protect the safety of more people because less people will be involved with an accident. If you get in an accident with more than one other person in your car (except family members and without a supervisor) then your insurance is null and they wont pay out.

As much as I hate having my N and these rules. statistics win in this situation and until there is a drastic change in them, the rules wont be changed and more than likely shouldn't be changed.
