so some expatriate dude over here recently bought a new lower end Le Mond road bike from my local shop. he has just been transferred to a job in San Jose and needs to get rid of his bike, he comes to the store and says yeah i dont really want to wait to sell it because i know i dont have time to (he leaves the nest day) so the shop manager takes the bike off his hands and holds it in the store. i show up the other day to shoot the breeze with my tech homies in the back. i notice the bike and ask whos it is and why they arent selling it. manager tells me he cant sell the used bike and he offers to just let me have it, and i accept.

now, the question is, what the fuck should i do with this bike?! definitely changing bars, keeping the gears cuz i dont need another fix, and im ready to basically switch out everything but the frame, any ideas would be rad.
