Was just checking out someone's thread about Final Cut and not having enough space on the hard drive to render, and it made me remember a tool I downloaded that has helped me out in a huge way. If you've had your mac for a few years, and are anything like me, you probably have files you've completely forgotten about, or dont even know you had to begin with. Download this:

It's a free open source program, and it basically shows you your computer as a grid, and the bigger the blocks, the bigger the files are. You just scroll over each one to find out what is taking up the most space on your drive. I found soooo many random Final Cut render files from quick projects I've done, and then deleted, but the render files stay there, andj they add up to a lot of space. After using the program I freed up close to 60gigs on my drive, so hopefully this will help others too.
