For anyone on NS that has a bike, post it up.

1980 KZ650.  Going to have the tank and plastics painted black, new tires, new bars, getting a bunch of other stuff powder coated, and more.  It's going to be my summer project.

I love this bike.  Very quick for being almost 30 years old.

That's my baby.. once I have more money it's getting mini-ape bars, a hypercharger intake, short shocks, exhaust and a wider back tire. Chyeahhhh.

I was going to buy like a 450cc cruiser bike, but my boss got a DUI and is probably going to sell me a 650cc (maybe 600?) Gixxer for $400, everything works great except the alternator.  I don't really want a crotch rocket but for $400 I can't pass it up.  I weigh almost 200lb's so I should be ok on a 650, but I've never ridden a street bike before, just dirt bikes and cruiser style ones.

It's gotta be a GSXR600, maybe 750? They don't make a 650, I think. You should be fine on a 600, I weigh 180 and ride my friends' 600 rockets, and they still haul ass. Have fun :) Be careful while you're learning though, parking lots are a godsend for learning balance and clutch control. Maybe check out a ridercourse.. I took the experienced riders one and it was sweet. Learned a lot and got to rip around a course.

Yeah its def a 600 if they don't make a 650.  I was planning on taking this rider course thing they do at a college in san diego that takes a weekend but I guess at the end you just take a written test and Boom! license.

its a 1982 suzuki gs650gl

looks a little different now, stripped the gauges, and it has a giant fog light instead of the two smaller headlights.

It wasn't customized by myself. A 70 year old man did it and I bought it from him the way it is. I just need to do a few things to it. It currently has no front brake and I'm not a fan of riding without one. I also need to wire turn signals and the horn to pass registration. The motor is in epic condition with only 9k miles on it and is really... REALLY fast. I'm not really trying to go for the bobber look. More of the retro Indian/Harley type of thing.

01 TTR 225, Not the fastest bike on the trails but she gets the job done.

im working this summer for the sole purpose to make enough cash to buy a rocket by the end of summer, i can't wait to get a road bike : )
