yeah, anything corrugated does it for me. i always think i'm gonna catch and edge, lose a ski and die. my brother tried one, and exactly that happened. i just stay away from them, they're for snowboarders, or people who ride hellbents in the park.

also when they make tree runs. at mountain creek, for all you nj heads, they had a tree branch rainbow rail thing, and i tried it, caught an edge and died.

Really badly made step-ups.

Rails.

And I hate when your doing bc, and you see a beasty line, but its on the windward side of the mountain so theres like an inch of snow there and you cant do the line. Its upsetting.

i dont really like those like, black plastic tube things wiht all the ridges in them, theres just no real good way to rail them. my friend broke his thumb on one when he got his thumb caught in on of the ridges HA
other than that i cant think of any park feature i dont like

why all the hate on culverts? I didn't ride any park this past season or last, but two years ago when keystone had the up culvert at the end of the park with a drop off the end, one of the most fun features in the park, especially the machine gun noise, and then spinning hard off of it because it had the giant drop... was a blast! anyway, least favorite things are bomb holes, and deceptively crusty snow.

I hate boxes (or rails) that go like  -----   -----   ------   like there are spaces in between the rails, especially when they're up flat down. Corrugated anything, wood.

what the hell are you guys talking about c-boxes are the best. Its easy to set them up wrong and then they suck but if you get a good one they are freaking amazing. Like anyone ride pats peak in nh? this years c-box was freaking money. 270s and 450s off were so easy because it sets you up perfectly. I love c-boxes.

Worst features probaly
cranmores butter box to down rail what the hell were they thinking?
and huge gaps to handrails on stairsets or like cranmores dfd on the stairset.
flat up flat rails suck two
and i cant stand s-boxes

Any jump at Sierra Summit because our shithead park manager doesn't know the landing has to be steeper than the run and maybe we want a jump bigger than 20ft.  Two years ago we had a 60 footer with a different park manager, who also knew how to build fun creative rails and jibs.  Now it's just shitty jumps with a 20ft. landing that is only a little steeper than the run.  Same exact DFD rail, same shitty wallride with no HDPE on the wall, so you can't spin.  Fuck you in general Sierra Summit.  You're only good for tree skiing.  Good thing it's California.  If I did not have powder days.............fuck.  The main lodge is not damn different than it was 30 years ago.  Even the staff is a bunch of shit heads, so isolated from the real world.  Sorry, veered way off topic.  /rant.

I skied pats this year and found the c box ok, but a little too mellow for me.  It was practically a flat box.  Odd that you don't like s-boxes, because they're the same with twice the tech. fun.  And they had a decent one set up at pats.  Funny how often that small hill has come up in the discussion of worst features...
