Park: c boxes... i wish death to all of them
stupid little ride on boxes that are practicly leval with the snow out of the baby park
down boxes are gay!
quarter and half pipes are terrifying
and huge lips that shoot you half way down the rail or box.
urban setup flat railis so dumb
and the worst only happens at mountains where the park crew is really lazy... big 1-2 foot holes in the landing of flat boxes cause so many people use them
yea but it kills my gloves
half pipe
rails/boxes with no jump up or a jump up that ends at the feature so you just end up clipping your tips on the front of it.
bathtubs
Wallrides because they're never properly maintained, boxes that are squared off instead of round coping, ridiculous roller coaster type boxes, and rainbow rails because they never have good lips. \
I like rails stock and progression friendly.
I broke my cell phone on a c box this season.
For me probably up boxes, I don't want to fly off the top, so I overcompensate and don't go high enough up to get all the way off the box on the way down.
Also I've never even attempted an S box but I'm sure those are ridiculous.
Funny, I really like curved rails/boxes. I mean, they are definately harder than kinks, but its a good challenge IMO. I got a nice s-box down this winter and it was so satisfying, but they have to be just right, not too mellow as to practically be a flat box, but not impossibly banked.
Also, for all the c-box haters, you can't deny that presses look and feel absolutely amazing on them.
'nuff said
Actually this season I managed to slide some C boxes all the way down, but I've never even tried a kinked box. Seems harder to me. Up box was the first one I tried that wasn't flat.
Most of the kinked boxes at my hill are really long, multiple kinks, and urban stye though so its a little sketch.
I hate wooden rails but love log taps
