waxing is for pussies. My skis have only been factory waxed and they have over 100 days on them. three core shots on one and 1 on the other. it doesn't affect performance on anything. cept racing but I'm not a stick chasing bitch now am I? Besides who wants to spend perfectly good drug money on wax? fuck that. just do with out the 7 speed checks I see most people drop when skiing into a hit.

you should only wax every 3-5 times, depending on the snow conditions. if you wax more than that you're going to get excess wax buildup on the base of your ski which will actually work against you. unless you use base cleaner each time before you wax your skis, but then you're just wasting wax.

1-2 times a week, depending on how hard i ski. The snow here is icy hard so edging wears the wax away quick. Plus if you scrape and buff and brush well enough, leaving wax still on the base it gives you extra protection to an extent. Yea

last time i waxed was like a year ago ahhahaha it doesnt matter to me if i go fast, the hill is too small so it wont make a difference plus i still go faster than everyone

I haven't waxed or tuned my skis in almost a year. It's pretty pathetic, but they still make it down the mountain. I think I'll just buy new pair, my twigs are just about toast anyways.

skis dont need wax they need to be rubbed on metal every once and a while, and if you want em in tip top shape, rub them on concrete, that will get rid of all the nasties on the bottom.

i wax my skis every 5 ski days or so.....i hate when i start to feel them getting slow, plus the act of waxing my skis and the smell of wax has always just satisfied me immensely.....but my dad taught me how to wax when i was real little so i guess i've always been used to it, just like always having a designated R and L ski, even though it doesn't really make a difference, it's just something i've always been anal about
