Line blends or Anthems

yo i need some help. i cant descide what i want. i want a ski that is decently fat like 90- 100 under foot. but i wanna be able to rip the woods and also be able to jib some rails but i want a ski that will be good for stomping big airs? what should i get the Line Anthems or the chronic blends?

i am around 5'9'' what size should i get?
i spend my time in the park and trees

You might want to look into Chronic Cryptonites, 92mm underfoot, bit stiffer than anthems.

All the characteristics you just named are exactly that of the Anthems. I have a pair and they are awesome. Hitting rails and jibs are a blast. And you can still stomp 65 foot kickers with ease and not washing out. And tree skiing sholdnt be a problem at all. i would get 179 becasue the symmetrical makes them feel smaller than they really are. i'm 57 and a ride 171 and they feel small.

Um... no. anthems do not do that well in pow because of the center mount, and I would also NOT feel comfortable hitting a 65 footer on anthems, for sure. To noodley.

To the OP, I have the chronic blend (90 mm waist) and I skied it all this year. It is a great ski for what you decribed, it kills it in the trees, floats pow decently, and is still great in the park. Its also really durable from my experience. I would recommend if you like a stiffer ski. I'd say the sweet spot for a mixture of all mountain/park riding is -2.5 from true center.

i got anthems and hate them for anything but park, got blends for next year so i can really have some fun (hopefully).   i managed on the anthems allseason but, i felt very limited in what i could do imo, anything over like 6 inches and your gonna be angry you got these too.

yeh those are two very different skis .. i would recommend chronics for the best of both of those skis ... theyre a bit stiffer than anthems but far better in park (esp jibbing) than blends

yep these are 2 very different skis.

anthems are a soft symmetrical park ski which will perform real good outside the park but by no means will it do as well as something with a more traditional side cut mounted a bit further back. used to own a pair and i didn't like how they handled in the softer snow, just not made for that.

blends are a 1 ski quiver type of setup. i'm on them right now and they destroy everything you throw at them, groomed, crud, pow, trees... anything. not really a big park skier skier and i mounted them on the line (5 -6 back) so they weren't ideal for jibbing but then again they weren't bad. prolly a lot better if mounted further up.

as some mentioned above. i'd throw in there some chronics or even the kryptonites for next year. sound like super versatile park skis to me.
