so snowlerblading is such a major newschool influence, i can recall back in the day of 6th grade when my friends and i each had a pair and started to get comfortable doing tricks, and then eventually moving back to skis for the tricks.

Ya back in Grade 7 I had snowblades and then I moved up to twin tip skis cause I didnt like how the bindings didnt break out. Its probably the one thing that influenced me to twin tip ski.

The only problem with skiing is the lack of girls, atleast hot and horny ones! Want to go bowling?

This isnt the site to talk about why people ski instead of boarding. But im seeing a lot lately that there are a lot of people (mostly 12 and under) that have blades. I don't mind it because it is the starting point of most of the new freeskiers.

First of all, this site is a community, because as many of you know there are no missions. I think that is how to spell it. But I digress, this site is for skiers to discuss all aspect of everything. Even though skiboarding is not as cool as skiing, it does, or at least did, have a big impact on our sport. But yeah, it is what kids do before they know about twin tips, and no, it is not what 12 year olds do when they cannot afford to snowboard. In fact, renting skiboards costs more than renting a snowboard.

no i was 12 once, i couldnt afford a snowboard casue it was like 3 bucks more then snowblades, so i got snowblades. I had a large amount of fun that day except everyone laughed at me cause my legs would shake when i turned. Mmm to be 12 again

I started skiboarding (snowblading), did that for a season, really liked riding fakie and stuff, but i found myself very restricted both speed and air wise. It's hard to land big airs on tiny little snowblades, and they get really sketchy at high speed. Plus they can't ride pow, which is another thing I like to do. So when I found out about twintips, i bought then the next season. Started with shorter skis cuz of snowblading roots, and eventually went longer. Been skiing ever since
