New Skiis

I'm thinkin about getting new skiis next year and i've heard about this new company called Bro skis. Unless you live in the Reno/Tahoe area you have probably never heard of them, so i guess im mostly talking to tahoe people. If you have heard anything about them, what?

Also, have you heard about Moment skiis? I was gonna demo them but they didnt have any in my size. Are they any good?

I don't know bro skis but moment is really legit and they make good skis, depending on what you wanna do with them

Moment makes some bomb skis. It would be super helpful if we could get your weight, height, skiing ability and where you ski I.E. park, big mtn, all mtn.

aren't the Bro skis made by Powder Magazine? i think i remember there being an add in a Pow mag a couple years ago that said they were made by Pow Mag.

I have skied the lhasa pows from pm gear ("bro").   Thses skis are the best ski I have ridden.  They give a super nice surfy feeling in the pow but hold a great edge on the hard pack.  They are super light as well.  If you mount them up with dukes or barons you would have a sick side/back country ski.  They only downfall of the lhasa, is that they are very expensive.

I may be wrong, but this seems very unlikely.  I subscribe and have read every eissue cover to cover for a few years now, and I heard no mention of this.  I mean the distribution company is based in Florida!  I do remember ads for BROSKIS, but no other  mention of a Pow mag connection.
A great place for BRO ski  info would be the TGR forums. Read  up some of those threads (not the granola munching ones).  These boards don't have much (if any?) of a twin tip, so they cater more towards touring.  Moment on the other hand is more freestyle oriented.

Pm gear skis are supposed to be really sick. I haven't personally ridden them, but my friend has a couple pairs and his brother rides for them/helps design them. I've flexed the Bro and Super Bro. They are super stiff and would be amazing charging skis. Not for tricks though.
