I love my job

So, I didn't know if this should be in ski gabber or non, so since there was doubt, I put it in the non category.

I am a career tree planter. Have been planting as my main source of income for 7 years now (and keeping my winters work free to ski every day). I have planted across Canada in Northern Ontario, Northern Saskatchewan, around Alberta, and all over BC.

This year I am working with a small kick ass company based in the Kootenays here. I work Monday to Friday, get to come home to Rossland on weekends and hang out with friends. But beside the closeness to home, my office is the Monashee Mountains, Selkirks, and Valhalla's. Retallick - I work around there, Monashee and Mustang, I work around there. Revelstoke, yea, I work around there. I spend my days out in the mountains picking lines down the mountain of epic proportions

My rant is going nowhere, so I will end this now. For the sake of this being a thread in the forum... why do you love your job?

I work at a bike shop, I get to look at expensive bikes and talk to people all day. It's a pretty laid back job as well. Second best job I've ever had.

i work at a catering company carrying around trays of champagne to rich snobby people for 6 hours at night, usually until 11 or 12, even on fridays and saturdays...




i hate my job.

i work at my dad's marina.  i work on the dock and just get to ride around in boats all day, sail, and hang out with the other people who work there, who are all really cool.  i love my job

how much do you make a year planting trees?

I LOVE MY JOB

I work for a white water tube rental business in NY. Even though i get paid minimum wadge its a fun job, i praticall work outside everyday, and there are always hot chicks in bikinis, but also get groups of up to 130 hasidic jews. I mainly wash life jackets/wetsuits, Build seats for the tubes and repair flat tubes, work behind the counter, but have also had to chase lost tubes down the river, and some times rescue people who are hurt, or stuck in the river.
Most people i work with there are super chill smoke weed, and my boss is almost insane, i mean you would have to be insane to run a white water tube rental business, but hes a chill guy. And our bus driver is some bald fat biker dude with a handle bar mustach, and a lot of tattoos. If you wanna check us out heres out link, web site is kinda bunk http://www.towntinker.com/

i'm doing graphic design and odd jobs like data entry and filing for a oil and gas company
i also make powerpoint presentations for the college and university students who are taking petroleum production accounting courses

i hate my job, i stand in a billion degre kitchen wash dishes and work with seafood, my manager is an ass, the onwer is the shit though.

i also now have a nice cut on my palm due to this job

i landscape/babysit at the same house.  its a huge house on a lake and it is a easy and fun job.  either out in the sun working, trimming the plants and trees.  or babysitting the 7 year old boy with a tramp, so i can practice on all day with him.  cant really beat my job.  also go swimming anytime i want.

I love my job cause it pays well and  I get to ski all around (pow, park, ice, dirt, trees, people, skis, roofs, etc) with a bunch of cool little kids for half a day everyday during their holidays. They look up to me, bring me little gifts, organize surprise snowball attacks, they kill it at skiing, make me laugh so hard, sometimes whine too much, but they just make my day. I gotta say the scenery/landscape is spectacular and the lunch too.
