I demo'd them at the demo day at Squaw.
To start out I am 18, been skiing since I was 2. about 30 or so days the last couple years (think about 50 this year) but never really done much park. I can straight air most jumps, and I learned how to slide rails this year, lol.
So I demo'd the 181 and they were fun, pretty stable but I kind of wanted something flexier were I could lean forward and tipstand and stuff. So I went down and tried the 171's (coming out next year, not for sale yet) and I really liked them. I know they sound really short, but I liked them more. Still fine on jumps, rails everything.
For the record I usually ski a 192 ON3P Wrenegade, sometimes on a groomer day or when hitting the park 178 scratch bc, and I have some 187 bluehouse districts with fritschi's I use for backcountry.
So they 171 felt really good to me, even though I usually ski pretty long skis I guess (wish I had the money for the 205 praxis pows) Then again I suck at park, 180,360 on tiny faggot jumps and no spinning or anything on big jumps.
