does anyone know whether the marker series actually helps with power transmission in turning or is that advertising bs?

jesters and dukes are awesome markers, other than that don't get anything under 14 din, but even that is pushing it

They actually do help with power transmission because of the wider friction plate under your boot. Makes it easier to initiate turns and hold an edge, more leverage dood. My next pair of binders is gonna be Jesters, I have ridden them on multiple pairs of skis and I love them.

Same here, my comp 14 frees are still going strong. Some of the best bindings I've ever owned, never had any problems or release issues.

Go with the Jesters they are the lightest Binding on the market and in my oppinion they have the best peformance.

Yer i put jesters on my prophet 90s this season and they are sick. Wide base under heel transmits more power. They are shorter than average resulting in concentrated swing weight. Plus they look dope.
If your light you could go for the griffon which is cheaper and goes up to 12din instead of 16din, depends how well you rip.
i just got some look jibs on sale so hopefull i will notice the difference between the two.
