so i am not a regular here at all, obviously, but i have a long list of personal references over on tgr (let me know if you want to see them). trying to unload some old skis. check 'em out and let me know if you have any questions....
so here's the dealio... i'm selling off some old gear for my family to make room in the garage. i've erred on the side of giving too much information, just for the sake of full-disclosure. any haze on the bases in pictures is just wax. the bindings all have the same number of days as the skis they're on. local pick-up in los angeles or orange county can be arranged. i'm sorry in advance if shipping takes a little while, though, as i am trying to sell a LOT of gear at once (i'm not even sure where i'm going to find all the cardboard...) and i am currently in professional school all day, every day. i WILL do my best, though. my referrences here in gear swap are many, so if you want to see my resume just send me a private message. let me know if you have any questions. thanks!
1) 169 salomon 1080's w/ salomon s711's- $75 SHIPPED
these skis have about 15-20 days on them. mounted 2x with salomon s711's. the first time was on the line for a 315mm bsl and the second time was also on the line, bu for a 295mm bsl. there are a few base gouges that have been filled. the edges are freshly tuned to 1* base and 2* side, and the bases are structured and covered with a thick coat of storage wax. there was a delam where a small strip of the cap top-sheet peeled away, but it was not along the edge of the ski and it was successfully epoxied (the epoxy job has lasted 6 years, so far)
2) 161 line 1260's (aka, the "jib ninja") w/ 10 DIN markers - $75 SHIPPED
these skis have about 10-15 days on them. they have been mounted once for a 315mm bsl on the line. these skis are PRISTINE. there are two TINY base repairs that weren't even core shots. the edges, sidewalls, and topsheets are all mint. the bases come storage waxed. and, as one of the lower model marker bindings, i think the biometric toe doesn't quite work the way that marker inteded it to... but this just means that they DON'T pre-release! seriously, i felt WAY more confident skiing on these than the higher DIN marker bindings that i have on some of my older skis. just let me know if you want to ditch the bindings instead of paying to have them shipped, though
5) 168 volkl v's - $50 SHIPPED
brand new. never mounted. a little rust on a few inches of the edges that could be easily and quickly removed by a quick tune. in fact, just ski it off.
