Companies need to start posting the effective edge of their skis. Some companies already do it, but its very few. This would help so much in comparing sizing between skis, models and companies. I mean how many time it been brought up that lines cap skis are true to length compared to just about any other ski that is measured before press. Also with different tip lengths, like if tips are stuby or drawn out. Just thought I would bring this to the table of discussion because I think this could help people alot for little work by the manufacturer.
Doesn't really matter as long as you know how to ski. I mean, it makes a MINOR difference, but not once have I ever been remotely concerned about it before buying a ski.
