New Parts Stoke

This thread is to post the new parts you have just gotten that you are stoked on.

I'll start.

Easton EA70 stem. Just ordered it last night off Jenson USA. Major discount. 90mm stem. The stem that is currently on my bike is way too long, at least 120mm. I wanted to tighten up the cockpit, get a more upright riding stance and make the bike a better descender.

Can't wait to get it in and try it out!

probly lookin into new grips, preferably lock on, and a new front tire....anyone have any opinion on light but grippy xc tires? i keep washing out on tight turns with my specialied tires.

I've been having a nightmare in deciding on a set of tires. The biggest problem I have is fear of spending $60-$80 on tires that don't really improve my riding. And reviews are so highly variable. Some people LOVE some tires, others hate the same tire.

That said, my next "part" is going to likely be Maxxis ADvantage with a 2.25 up front and a 2.1 in the rear (I have narrow chainstays with limited tire clearance in the rear).

ust got anall new cockpit: PRO FRS 50mm stem, answer 720 protaper am bars, wtb shadow seat, sunline lock on grips. hopefully some new superstar hubs this summer!
