Graphics tablet

Does anyone have one of these. I saw one at office depot today and was wondering if it would be useful to someone who doesn't make graphics with their computer.
Is it more egonomic than a mouse? Is it worth the 70 plus dollars if I am not an artist or anything.

i just got a wacom bamboo fun, temporary for graphic design until i can afford a cintiq.

i prefer the mouse for everything except graphic design and handwriting. using the pen for stuff like browsing the web and other standard tasks is kind of a hassle, and i gave up on that after about 10 minutes.

my laptop is also a tablet and I agree with krob, its quite a hassle to surf the web with it, if your not interested in graphic designing, it may not be good for you.

where abouts are you located. how long have u owned (what kind of useage did it have) what kind of review do you give this kinda thing, ive been looking into a tablet for awhile, and interested i dont need a super high quality but i do some graphic work and it seems like a thing that i could use.
