This is starting to piss me off...

Its always annoying whenever i have to shake some chick's hand... Most of the time they shake hands like pussy ass idiots.... they either do the stupid finger-shake, or just have a crappy limp-wristed weak grip, and then i go in for the solid handshake and feel like im going to crush their hand...
But then when i assume theyre going to shake hands like a pussy, i end up trying to do the same thing, and then they have a normal handshake and i have to quickly regroup mid-shake and put a solid grip in...

I'm on of those girls, I really really really strongly dont' like being touched, so if the person looks disgusting, i do an akward handshake because it weird them out. Sometimes just to annoy ppl i do the fingertip in the palm of the hand with an odd sidways grip and don't move my hand.

did you know that initiating a handshake with a woman was at one point in time considered rude? some women are still offended by it today. they say you're only supposed to shake a woman's hand if she offers it first. weird huh?

It pisses me off. I had an interview today and the manager that interviewed me had the weakest handshake ever. Also, girls who play tennis should shake hands like you have authority. Every time I played someone in tennis they had the limpest handshake ever. Grrrr.

Ahaha this is funny because this scenario happened to me at work I was meeting a bunch of higher up's out in the field and there were like 4 guys and a chick so I shook all their hands met them nice firm handshakes then went to the girl and she gave a half-ass squeeze and i felt like i crushed her hand :facepalm:

no that's fact. actually, I always feel like I'm turning guys OFF when I go in for a legit handshake, and I get paranoid I'm going to grasp too hard or something and come off as a complete and utter butch.

I always get the feeling that adult guys (by which I mean like dads, doctors, teachers, etc, you know?) go in for the dainty hand clasp like beezey was talking about, and when I do a regular shake they're like wtf?

Then yesterday I meet my friends boyfriend for the first time, we shook hands when we met and I left, and he gave me a crappy shake like he didn't want to hurt me. Holy shit, be a man and get a grip-- literally.

my dad taught me how to give a strong handshake for when I apply for jobs, he said it shows you know what you're doing. Also because I'm female to always come in from above to shake hands on in the centre, and never below, most guys will come from above to show authority, not only to girls. I do think a strong hand shake is a good thing to know
