i was looking for a thread like this the other night... and all of the threads about file sharing are super old.  thanks for all the help in this thread!

also not to thread jack haha but which one of these sights will let you upload folders and not just individual files one at a time?

ah good question, not jacking a thread at all

and umm i'm gonna guess mediafire is bolded because it's one of the better ones there?

Mediafire seems to delete files at random.....

If your looking for a backup type site do live mesh,

its really slick, it just puts an icon on your desktop, and anything you put in it gets uploaded to the internet, up to 5 gigs.

And it works on Macs and Pc's and some cell phones.

And it can sync files between comptuers.
