Need help sizing skis +K for help

Hey guys, heres another sizing thread.

I'm 6ft and 143lbs.

For next season I have

176 Chronics
178 Invaders

but I might be selling one of these so I thought id go back to lib techs and was wondering, for my height and weight would a 173 ski be too small. id use it for more jumps than rails but the jumps are all under like 40ft or so prolly smaller i dont know how to measure em, but the skis are also rockered. i dont know if its the same for skiing as boarding, but snowboards on rockers u can size down. i was told it was the opposite for skis which was to size up on rockers but im not riding in any pow, its strictly park about 80% jumps 20% rails boxes w.e

So i was wondering if the 173 would be fine, of course the 181 would be better but theres a deal on the 173 so yeah. thanks

a good 200 more haha. i can always wait and just use whatever i keep if i sell my chronics ill just use my invaders i guess.

ouch. well, you'd regret getting 173s... so wait until next year and you can find this year's skis for cheapppp

Actually, Bumping this again because I am about to purchase tonight. Want other opinions too

Was wondering if 173 would be too short [It would be rockered] and has a 92 waist width if that would be too small if id use it more on the jump days but still hit rails etc.

otherwise ill spend about 180 more on the non rockered ones which are 85 waist so i believe would be better in the park and can get sz 181?

6ft 145lbs here.

At your size a 173 is prob too small and the rocker will make them ski even smaller than a traditional 173. I wouldn't buy something just because it's a good deal. Buy what you want/need, save your money and take a pass on the 173.

cant go wrong with saga thats what i wear... also check out some snowboarding brands they have a lot of legit shit- bonfire makes good solid single color gear that looks really balla

^lol^ i meant to put that on a different page but the longer ur skis the better stability and speed it also makes u look more steezy in air its all preferance though im like 5'7 and run 169's
