50 50 one ski

after watching the new brogan edit and a few other good vids ive noticed a good number of these on rails lately, some totally one footed and others with one foot and the other foot kindof slanted. Are these hard really or its just practice or is there a trick to them? And could anyone tell me how to if you know? Why is the non rail foot slanted upward? Why are all these people influencing me to try this? Why am i going to try this? Is it worth nutting many rails badly to get this trickery?

ok chuck. ill help u out since i can do em. ok. B A L A N C E. haha adn also line one foot up with rail get on and slide., i have no nuts soo it wont hurt as bad but is stilll scary haha/ also u most likely wont nut it. ull fall off the other side or sart to turn...one foot is slanted to stay straight. adn i dont know y they are infulencing u and makeing u want to try it. and also they are fun on flat rails or df. or w/ev. uhh yeah just sac up and do it chuck. u have no balls any eway soo it wont hurt. hahah

not all ski/ inline names have to be the same. plus, i would say the inline grind is not quite the same as on skis, it seems more tech on skates cause you arent over the dead center of your boot like you are on skis, plus nugget sound so much better haha. and to op BALANCE is also key i guess, ive tried a few and theyre a lot harder than i thought they would be

I want to see more 180s to switch 50 50s on rails.  And 50/50 switchups at kinks.  I mean it would be ballsy (pun intended), but would look so sick.  Or even a 50/50 to 270 at a kink.   Definately a wide array of options and I sense parry/wesson have already done half of them.  And the other ski at an angle would be to keep you on a straight track.

this would be soooo dope if someone pulled it off... but a 50-50 to 180 swup switch 50-50 would be crazy hard... borderline impossible... although im sure andy parry will be pulling them by the end of next season anyways...

nope, they are 2 different tricks. i guess if you really wanted to do it that way a makio on skis would be miraculously sliding on the side of your ski boot without nutting yourself. nuggets also add a technical element that makio's dont have which is using the foot you arent balancing on to keep you in a straight line, i.e. pointing that ski up like steve stepp, t-wall, brogan etc.

but yeah a nosepress on a skateboard is pretty comprable to a nosepress on a snowboard, no technical difference in the was the trick is done.

so no, what is being described is not a lollerblade trick, its a trick thats unique to skiing. fuck summer, once the snow starts falling again i can actually try to get my B A L A N C E right on this trick instead of writing about in on a website
