They are comfy as hell

but they suck. i mean, they aren't as bad as skullcandy, but your money is definitely better spent elsewhere. not that one could expect anything better from Monster.

nah they're a tough set and like i said before they're comfy. the sound is pretty crap for the price though (Monster again). i highly doubt Dre uses them in the studio. an enemy of mine bought them and i was kind of happy he spent that money on them.

kobe was wearing those after a game. look pretty nice but I'd have to hear them first

My friend has a pair and they make my ears cream every time I listen to them.

I would say they are amazing; I would by far recommend them.

my friend sold his bose and bought these, and he highly regrets his decision. I don't think that they look all that sweet, but thats just my opinion.

The earbud versions are the worst earbuds I've ever used. They have like 6 dif rubber things that you can put on the ends of the buds so that they fit yer ears and none of them fit. They have good bass but only if you shove em deep in yer ears and they slide out in like a second and sound all pitchy. If the earbuds are anything like the head phones dont get em. Amazingly overpriced.

they give them away on MTV's "The Challenge". absolutely nothing to do w/ quality just reminded me of that

I work in the audio industry and I believe that they are a decent sounding headphone for their purpose. The price is ridiculous. Dre did develop them to listen to the music "he" produces sound like the studio for a headphone reference comparison when mixing down. I must stress they cater to his ears and the sound he wanted, they are not lying about that. That being said listen to his mixes in them and they sound really good, they are catered to him. Monster as a company over charges everything for a regular product, their cables etc are nothing special and not respected. They probably offered him a hefty sum of money for them to develop his headphones with them as he has been working on a headphone for some years now. Skullcandy should not even be mentioned in a comparison, those are the worst headphones to be produced and are nothing more then a marketing scheme to appeal to action sports and new music sensations. They send out free product to everyone and their mothers who have any potential at another lane of exposure. I recommend going and listening to any headphone before buying them, keep in mind what you will use them for, what you are looking for as far as price and keep inmind what music you listen to and how they will translate those genres. I believe that the Dre headphones cater to a low end(bass) color, but  still somewhat precise replay of the original mix. In buying a headphone I always look for what purpose it will serve and listen to what type of color it adds to the sound, There are many headphones out there that are colorless, or atleast close to it.  In the end to each his own, I do own a pair but I have mny headphones for different uses...
