seriously dude, almost everyone on NS is a grammar nazi and corrects people's spelling all the time... the fact that you aren't used to it or can't deal with it is pretty sad...
also sad is the fact that you need to "think about" how to spell 'vehicle'.

well maybe im retarded? i knew vehical was wrong and i know how to spell it. its one of those words where vehical and vehicle just look the same to me in a way. for me even though i dont usually mess them up, i did in that case because my fingers were typing faster than my brain

my buddy just sent me this, no idea how accurate it is but its a collection of things supposedly leaked about the game... once again not sure its accurate but might as well check it out

  • Vehicles will be in MW2
  • M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
  • Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
  • M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
  • Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
  • There are more unknown weapons that will not return
  • New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
  • New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
  • New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
  • Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
  • Favourite Modern Warfare 1 maps will return
  • Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
  • Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
  • Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1's campaign)
  • All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
  • All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
  • New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy's Intel)
  • New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
  • Solider customization for each class (and each country)
  • Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
  • There are NO bots in local multiplayer
  • Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
  • NO guest players online, 1 player per console
  • Killcam save feature
  • There is blood and gore
  • Offline/Online Co-op
  • Story takes place in the Middle East
  • Role as US marines return
  • Ken Lally voice work in campaign
  • Release is set for sometime in November
  • New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
  • Campaign-only weapons

Everybody who doesnt know yet... This ISNT a Call of Duty game. its just Modern Warfare 2.Infinity ward have stripped the call of duty franchise from this game.

still 3 bullets to the torso, head/ shoulders is a one hit kill. thats still pretty cheap if you ask me. its not like people aim at the arms or legs. i personally aim right below the neck. still a pretty cheap gun

hahaha why do kids on the internet have such a boner for infinity ward? i know i know, cod4 is awesome, but you guys probably have no idea how the companies, or production of the games, work. and you havent even played this game so how would you know they did an incredible job?

There is a few new perks. Dominator - after you get 7 and get a heli, it starts over so when you get 3 more (10 kill streak) you get new UAV, then 5 (12 kill streak) Air Strike, then 7 (15kill streak) another heli.  

Another one is you can have a Ghillie Suit for any class.

You can have two weapon attatchments. And like a few other things.

I found an actual COD MW2 vid thru all the rick rolled vids. the perks are towards the end.

Thats pretty awesome.  I've played CoD since the first one but it was a pretty dick move to not have Infinity Ward do CoD5 after they basically revolutionized FPS.

i was kinda hoping they wouldnt put vehicles in this. the tanks in WaW were pretty lame IMO. but if they are like other games i guess the vehicles in this wont be all that useful anyways if they aren't armored

true. just a pain to waste a perk on that for levels that dont have tanks. i went back to playing cod 4 recently anyways though. such a fun game after playing WaW for a while

i'm curious to see how that under water section works. I doubt its anything interactive, but probably more of a cut scene or something.

IW has made all the new CoD games. Treyarch has made the expansion packs or kinda... filler games.
IW made CoD, Treyarch made CoD:UO, IW made CoD2, Treyarch made CoD:3(Big Red One), IW made CoD4, Treyarch made CoD5 (world at war), and now IW makes CoD 6, which is really CoD5, seeing as World at war is basically CoD4 except set in WW2.

Its not a dick move because theyve been doing it the whole time, and everyone should know by now to not buy the CoD games that Treyarch make, because they all suck compared to the ones produced by IW.

IW made the original CoD... so how could they strip its name from the franchise? Just because it isnt set in WW2 doesnt make it not CoD.

its not hard to figure out..
clearly they dont want treyarch to be getting extra sales because of IW's cod games..

like me for example, i heard cod were cool games, so i got WAW first, but then i went out and bought cod4.. and i haven't played WAW since then. obviously they want to stand away from treyarch.

this is awesome, besides the fact that you get a fucking helicopter...is it a universal agreement that the dogs are waaaaay better because you can actually defend yourself, where the helicopter just owns everyone without anything you can really do? (yes, i know you can anti-aircraft them, but that takes a few shots, most of which miss, and most of your team runs around as if the thing doesnt even exist). if it really is the helicopter, well, whatever team gets it first is going to win with this dominator perk. the helicopter deff kills 3 people everytime, then you get to see where everyone is, get 2 more kills, then you automatically get 2 more with another airstrike, then a helicopter...and its just a long cycle.

i hope that the airstike is like the one in WAW too because in COD4, once you get 5 kills you automatically get 2 more because the airstrike kills everyone within half the map of where you place it...so lame.

i concur. it should be more like 5 kills for UAV, 10 for airstrike, and 15 or 20 for Heli...

because in CoD4, you'd get an airstrike and just throw up the uav, see where all the red dots are, and get 4 or 5 kills easily, then get your Heli, and pwn more noobs. but at least it wouldnt keep going past the heli... i think the idea of being able to get the airstrike and heli again is stupid... it just means that people will get 5 kills, then go and hide in a corner and just pwn everyone with airstrikes and helis for the rest of the game...

I really hope they dont go in the direction of the BF series.

the great thing about the CoD franchise (when the games are made by IW) is that its all hectic close quarters stuff and theres always crazy sh*t going on... BF is cool in its own right because of the big maps and vehicles and stuff, but CoD should stick to what it does best.

I completely agree. I really hope that for modern combat 2 they only change the things that weren't so great in 1 (no online multiplayer on one console, martydom, etc) If they add vehicles and start adding ridiculous shit I'm going to be disappointed.
