so tonight im going t pick my friend up at laguardia airport and im following my gps cuasce i have no idea where im going so i by accidently get off the wrong exit. its a pretty sketch area around as i soon find out. so its a one way street im forced to go ahead. im just in th ehood crusin around lost with my gps and radar on the dash thought i was gunna get jacked and killed. so many black people around thought i was going to get shot. finally got out of there un harmed luckly and end up in some industrial yard were there was hobos smoking crack and all kinds of crazy shit. end up finally finding it then i got lost again and ended up literally driving around the same thing 20 times fucken stupid ass place what a shitty night.

i was lost once and the guy working the gas station gave me directions and drilled it into my head not to stop at the stop signs, scary stuff

a bunch of stuff happened................. but mid way through one night i got lost with a car of friends in the flats (sp) of Cleveland, pretty much they have a high ass murder rate, we got lost in this sketchy stretch of road, where a week earlier 2 local men were taken into a park we drove by, and killed execution style, it was a gang ignitiation, basically we didnt stop at stop signs after, at the one we did stop, we relized there was a turf war happeneing between the 2 sides of the street on each side of us, there was a few jacked black men, swingin chains with little kids walking beside them, a few prostitutes, a few super thugs wearing all xxxxxl stuff, it was sketchy as hell and super fuckn scary, and to top this off a kid in the car ahead of us, (also was hangin with us this night) yelled "black people!" out the window, fuckn scaryiest dumbest night ever

im not ignorant ns, this was just scary shit

My friends mom (little hot white woman) got lost in Harlem back in the early '90s, has a killer story about it. Basically some big ass black dude with dreads helped her get out of the hood.

so one night i was clubbing and i got seperated from my friends when we were walking home and my phone had run out of battery and i ended up getting lost in this really sketchy place downtown. So i was waiting at this bus stop for this bus that i thought was going to take me home but it was 2:30 in the morning so i had no idea if it was still running, after about 10 min of waiting this sketchy guy comes up to me and starts talking to me and we are just talking about random stuff and how he wants to get his life on the right track. Finally he asks me where im trying to go and i tell he which he says the bus for is no longer running and that i have to go like 10 blocks from where i am and i need to run to make it. He tells me though that i am going through a rediculously sketchy section of town and that i should put my hood up and walk like a have a knife on me. It was the scariest 10 blocks i have walked in my life.

Spark notes:
Clubbing--->got lost---->Ended up in sketchy area--->Ended up talking to sketchy guy---->Found out I was in wrong area to get bus---->Told how to get there but to walk like i have a knife on me--->very scary night

my friend lives in bankhead, one of the toughest hoods in atlanta. T.I. is from there. He rents a house there cause its cheap and close to school. One day he was riding back to his house when a group of like 8 15-16 y/o black kids saw him and started running after him to fuck him up. He ended up swinging his heavy bookbag around and totally knocking this kid down. He ended up getting away.


Theres neighborhoods near here where people are shot every single day. The murders don't even make it on the news. Theres neighborhoods where they have cul de sacs and cars continually block the entrance and only certain people in gangs get in.

i live in what you all would call "the hood" their are hookers outside my building everynight, crack dealers, thugs, pimps you name it we got it.

people can sense your fear, if you walk past a group of thugs head held high, they aren't gonna give you a problem, you walk by like your scared of them and you've already given up control of the situation.

completely true. I don't live in the hood but I do live 4 blocks away from the projects. some sketchy as shit goes down there, gunshots aren't uncommon. and trust me, 4 blocks doesn't keep shit from happening on your street

thats just like where i live.  less then 5 years ago my neighborhood was a real nice one no problems, then the city decides to clean up the downtown area so they dump all the section 8 housing less than a mile from where i live.    a couple weeks ago a 13 year old girl who was out running was kidnapped raped and then killed and set on fire.  tons of drug dealers, pimps, whores, real thugs.  have had guys trying to get away from the cops hide out in my neighbors yard.  ive been chased and threatened with a gun, shits scary.

that sucks dude. its crazy the type of shit you see go down when you live by the projects. One of my good friends back in the day in hs had a gun pulled on him by a 11 year old kid right by my house. he wouldn't run his pockets and the kid didn't know what to do cause he said no. The kid told him to wait there and went across the street to a car full of guys in their 20's to ask what to do i guess. My friend ran right when the kid started to walk to the car lol

My town has a couple beat up places in town like shiloh and Lee Walker heights but is nothing to be scared of. most people that live in lee walker and shiloh are actually surprisingly nice if you are nice and give them respect like any other human.

haha my family had to drive through all of south central (compton, inglewood etc...) in a white rented minivan, we also ran out of gas in compton haha my dad pumped like 5 bucks and gtfod, ive been through queens too in the same situation, its really not that sketchy to go to those places especially during the day time...nights not good though.
