Helmet Sizing Question

Ok so i have a giro shiv size medium and it fits me good... I take out the pads and wear a beanie under.

Soooo i was wondering what size bern baker would i get? If im gonna take out the liner and wear a beanie under it.

If anyone has both of these helmets could you tell me how big they fit?

I haven't tried the shiv but I have used a giro in medium. I have a Bern Baker in an extra large wearing it with a beanie and no pads. Berns seem to run really small

bern runs small for sure, i normally wear a large smith or giro, but rock a XXL bern.
