dorset quarry. (southern vt)

not very big but really fun. highest id 35 ft, no one knows how deep, more than 100 feet deep i've heard. theres just pretty much any height you want under 35. its a lot of fun on hot days

oh my bad highest is 70 at redrocks and 50 at lone rock. thers a 30 and like a few 20s at lone rock and redrocks has just about anythign up to 70

yea the crane is true and ive heard around 200 as well. but i doubt there is anything 43 feet. unless you clime a tree which i think so people have done its sketchy though. i dont remember really its been a while. but the biggest rock is not that high

red rocks is debatably 70. Ive been there and the big one is prob only 60, really fucking high, but 60 none the less. Also north beach in burlington has a 20 and a 30 and bolton pot holes. Also huntington gorge, but that is probably the most dangerous place to swim in vermont. You can ONLY go in the fall after a long period with no rain. REALLY SKETCHY

quarrys are like mines pretty much, and once there isn't anymore rock and the machinery is 200+ feet down there isn't much you can do to get things like cranes out of them

the place where all us locals swim around richmond is at The Buckets which is below the huntington gorge along the river...there's a nice swimming hole with a 30, 20, and a couple of smaller ones up to 10...you can also swim climb up stream to a waterfall with a cave, some rapids, and a ledge underneat the fall...def. the spot where we chill the most during the summer...anyone wants directions get at me

yea thats where i go. but they are gay sometimes and come out for money if you come by boat, thats why we just sneak in the back side in the cove or get out of the water before they come so they think you drove.

i live almost right next to there and we've also taken our boat there...never once have we been asked to pay, must be a recent development? so lame whatever just go on foot its not far at all, stoked for it soon, we found a huge cliff this past fall a little farther away from the rest that we want to try out this summer

yea they started making people pay last summer. on weekends there would be a person out there collect like 3 bucks a pop when it was the prime time of the day.  My summer house is out on Marble Island so I have to go by boat because its like a 20 minute car ride around the bay.   Yea all those cliffs out farther look sick if you can get up to them.

not in vt but about an hour and 1/2 from me (stratton VT) lake george is where i spend a lot of my summer. gut me boat dur, and it has some realllllllly fun cliffs and a realllllllllly sick rope swing. my favorite place when im not on snow

oakledge park, its only good when the lake is really deep, its unjumpable most of the time. triple buckets in richmond/huntington is sick, just dont go up the road to the gorge, there is no reason to go there ever its dangerous and buckets is 100 times more fun. also i cant believe no one has said bingham falls in stowe, there is like a 40, 60, 15-20 and really really sketchy kids do this crows nest that i have heard is upwards of 80.

also, at redrocks, the biggest one is 76 feet whoever said it was only 60. there is one that is 60 there but you have to run and jump out over the 35-40 one, my brother is friends with the kids who cleared it out first and the kid slipped on his jump and ruptured his spleen and got super fucked up.

its pretty sketchy too, less sketch than the gorge but....my dad came very very close to dying there, had to tie towels together to get him out of a whirlpool, then same thing with another guy that day...then that week two people died, and a girl broke her ankle trying to save her dog (the dog died...)

i never went to potholes after my dads incident.

and yeah mad hillbillies.

ive never gone to the potholes...those are on the bolton access road or somethin?? i always stick to buckets cause its really all yah need round here haha...not too sketchy though for the bigger jump you do have to jump pretty carefully to land in the right spot...not bad though

theres a cliff in north hero i went to a few years ago. i think its to the left of the bridge from grand isle. where is red rocks in burlington? i'm going up next weekend so i wanna check it out so i know where it is this summer.

in south burlington. near the burton factory its a state park so you should be able to look it up on a map or ask any local theyll point u in teh right direction

theres a bridge over the winooski river on the burlington bike path that is probably 25-30 feet.  you can also climb the span and take it 50 feet or so.

this....except not sketch, its the dopest spot.  right by the simon pearce in quechee, covered bridge you can jump off and rocks below it with a rope swing sometimes, depends on if they have cut it down recently or not.   you can launch the bridge or the supports or the rocks underneath the bridge ranging from 15 to the bridge which is maybe 50 tops
