Shit.. yeah she was being a little bitchy but I would too if my dad was having a seizure.. that cop was a prick. If she's freaking out like that there's gotta be a reason.

really, I throw it all on that cop.
She called twice and both times no answer. It is 911 we're talking about. Fuck the amount of time wasted arguing with the cop during an emergency call when she was quite evidently distressed. Imagine the seconds that probably felt like hours she wasted just trying to get him on the phone in the first place, while her dad was having a seizure, three weeks post brain surgery.........
Fuck, I swear if I can't open a jar, in that situation I would have been losing my shit.

thats bulls shit man. I respect you but swearing on 911 is nothing. Swearing is nothing its fucking words, a mans life was in danger. What if he would have died? Fuck that cop, I just cant understand why there is a double standard in the law between citizens and police. If a citizen were to pull half the shit that cops pull they would be sitting in jail. He should have been required to issue an apology and then serve a two week suspension. if he didnt want to apologize then he could go pound sand with all his extensive skills. Seriously most cops suck at life and are on a power trip. At least the ones I have met.

i didnt think cops did 911 dispatch, i thought the calls all went to a dispatch center, to people who actually trained to deal with people in destress, on a side note how did that cop get away with arresting her over a fake charge?

yup theyre both technically at fault, but its the cops job. i still dont understand why theyre still keeping this guy? it must either be impossible to get rid of a cop after hes been working for so long or he knows some people higher up

it's nearly impossible for a cop to be fired. They are all so tight knit. To them the police force is like a brotherhood and to oust one would be like firing your brother. I hate that individuals like him (and the fuck head that strolls around my town of 3000 in fucking combat boots) give many good, honest, caring cops a bad name.

there is no excuse to ever hang up on someone who has dialed 911 unless it is clearly a prank and nothing more. swearing shouldn't even be an issue at all, especially in an emergency situation. how can you guys say the girl was at any fault. if she was smart she would have stated her father in having a seizure before asking for the ambulance, but you cant blame her for that.

that ma'fucka should be fired. I cant believe the chief didn't seem to have a problem with it either.

ok fuck the idea that that girl could have handled it better. if my dad was on the floor dying, and 911 didnt pick up id be fucking screaming shit. then when they did if that guy had the nerve to politely ask me to stop swearing when clearly im freaking out, then hes a doucher. he could have said something afterwards or just said nothing at all. and if he hung up on me once i would fucking flip. if he hung up on me again i would call the hospital. then after my dad was fine i would have walked in to the police station flipping the fuck out on him. prolly woulda take jail time to try and kick his ass but lose anyway. so i  think she handled it pretty well compared to what could have happened. i hate the idea of "oh she coulda handled it better". When someone is panicking they dont think of how they react, they just react. And the boss even said it, he didnt even ask her once what was wrong. WTF?! That cop has to be on my top ten list of biggest douchebags ever. 

But i also dont think all cops are like this. I met and know some very chill cops. The reason you get pulled over for stupid shit by the doucher is cuz he cares more about 5 mph over or curfew than the chill one does so he pulls you over more often.

I don't know why this got turned into a "fuck the cops" thread it was obviously an isolated incident with a huge douche at fault. The girl obviously didn't handle the situation well either. she kinda got wrapped up in  the phone conversation and if she would have thought about it the best way to have gotten her father help would have been to stop swearing. First make sure your father is ok before you start a huge stink about the dispatcher being a douche. It makes me mad she cared more about defending her swearing than to help her father.
