does anyone have tips on begining to do S-Rails besides starting off w/ learning C-rails

i did an s rail before i did a c rail and for the s rail i just let the rail take me

frontside would probably be one of the harder ways to do it. you should try going on backside first

seriously man, its fairly easy. i just learned rails this year, and on my 6th time up, i learned C rails. they way i started was just hitting it straight and just going off hte back. then each time go further and further. i ended up getting it in a few tries with no falls. now on S rails, i basically did the same thing. hit it straight to make sure i can land on it fine. then just go further and further. only 1 really bad fall on that

Hey man,
S rails are pretty tricky to learn. They basically just take a lot of practice. I have a tip that might help you progress a little quicker. When you start to slide the first part of the rail (the first C section) you want to lean into the curve but you want to try to keep you weight centered or slightly away from the curve. (it looks like gorilla steeze)This allows you to shift your weight on the rail easier when you go from the first C to the second. Hope this tip helps.
