it happens I love skiing for the first 3 month of the winter I slept in my car at the mount snow parking lot just to ski on the weekend then towards the end I had to stop to work on Saturdays and I lots some interest in it, I'm sorry to say it but your growing up there are other thing that take place you should get done first. I don't think you hate skiing but you have other priority to do first once you settle down I'm sure you get back into it.
I have an idea:
Move out east for a season... then move back to Utah. When you get back to Utah you'll love skiing again. Or at least be wayyyyy more stoked on it.
same thing happened to me...i was so bored of skiing i even started snowboarding. every no and again I miss skiing though. It's basically like having an identidy crisis b/c i want to ski but i also want to snowbaord.
To me watching snowboarding is just so much more fun to watching b/c they can make something simple like doing a tailblock down the trail look really fun.
You'll miss skiing though eventually, give it time. Try something new when you ski, go for a new trick ya know.
this happened to me about 4 years ago. you just need to change shit up. i used to shred park day and day out until the point that i basically got bored and didn't enjoy it anymore. since then i took the race skis out of the closet and got into skicross. now i can get enough of skiing whether it's doing 80km/h through the park or simply ripping trenches into the groomers.
just diversify and you'll be alright!
WHAAA?
man i skied every day i could this year and the only time it sucked was when the weather was bad.
maybe its just me but i can never get enough days in, the more the better.
Like others said take a break this summer. Don't even think about skiing then next fall buy all the new ski movies and watch them over and over to get you really stoked. Then don't ski park. Get you and your buddies to go ski powder and drop cliffs. The least boring days are when I'm scaring myself skiing gnarly terrain.
