I'm sorry to have to correct a mod but ohh well:

since you said honeymoon you implied that they would've gotten married beforehand. So the married couples got married in one of the 5 states (or Canada) where its already legal then travel to Hawaii. Since Hawaii dont exclude gay married couples then they would already gain revenue from the honeymooners.

If they were travelling down to get married in Hawaii it would be different however.

About the whole hate crime bill:

I have actually had that scenario of "I am afraid to hit them because I will go to jail for hate crime" happen to me before. This little gay kid fucking beat my car and hit me with shit, I didn't touch him because I knew if I did, it would be a hate crime. It's not even the gays that are older and have a relationship, those guys are some of the nicest chillest dudes I know. Its the little skinny twinks who are motherfuckers about it. This kid was stomping on my hood, and causing a scene because I fired his boyfriend. It is a fucked up country when a 6'5 man can't right hook a 110 pound soaking wet queen that's beating on his car. Fuck NYC sometimes.
