I thought Simon was wearing the G-Suit until the ebay auction of his suit revealed otherwise. And that looks exactly like the Magic Suit!

You can not sue for using the same color scheme. Although they do look alike the graphics are not similar at all.

Sure the colors are the same, but they pattern of both oakley suits look nothing like salomons stuff..

Oakley had been copying other companies' stuff for years when it comes to clothing, this is nothing new! They have copied Sessions for a good time and since the last two years they are starting to copy salomon...but hey, why would they stop doing it? people still buy their shit!

but they did invent the red and white geometric assymetry of the g-suit, copied by oakley, and they invented the purple green and blue chaos pattern, also copied by oakley.

a few years ago salomon came out with a plaid ish pattern that looked exactly like the pattern that oakley had had the year before. that grey plaid/camo that pep wore a bunch.

just in general: the guy on the pic is a austrian pro called Luggi Brucic.

I knew that its nothing new that oakley copies clothes, but I just wanted to show whats going on right now with the G-Suit and the Magic-Suit.

btw I like the idea to make a "birthday-suit" and then see what oakley does..

Oakley design suit release: 09.10 season

The first time the public saw the magic suit was what? about x-mas 08? Given that members of Oakley's team were wearing it in January 09, I doubt Oakley copied Salomon. Just because it takes you dumbasses longer to figure out Oakley's colors/line for next year does not mean they developed it latter.
the Idea that Oakley copied salomon on this one is preposterous. Both designs were probably developed about this time or earlier last year. 

If you all really want to know here is how it kinda works
there are agencies that do market research to figure out which colors / styles will be 'hot' in the following years. They then determine which colors will be cool and sell this information to companies like Oakley and Salomon. So it really not that surprising when two companies produce similar looking clothing.

but whats up with the G-Suit. We all saw it like the 07.08 season and when did we saw simons oakley suit with the red and white parts? THIS YEAR X-GAMES!

and I do not believe that its like "ohh red and white MUST be the new colors to wear and the BOTH brands make their clohtes in the same style with the blotches.

simon clearly likes red and white (see his empire beanies for reference) and just because he decides he wants his signature suit, which happens to be baggy as well, to be red and white they are automatically copying the G-Suit? come on! look at the new Spyder suit its red and white too with a similar design... maybe Spyder is copying them too their suit has the same colours!!!!111!!ONE!!

Maybe Simon does not like red and white...maybe he has to wear those colors because of his Target sponsorship...

And don't tell me that the first time you saw Dumont's suit you did not think: That looks really like the G-suit. It was my first impression at least, maybe I'm just crazy.

My first impression was "sick" and i thought red and white was a weird chocie since the G-Suit from this year already had it but I really dont find the design of the suit looks much like the G-suit

find a pic of Pep or Jossi wearing the brown and orange version and you'll see the difference

i know the orange version of it too. I still think that the design looks kind of like the g-suit, I'm not saying it's identical, but there is certainly lots of things that they got inspired by salomon to come up with that suit. And of course you have the right to tell your opinion, so do I!

wow. this entire time i seriously thought that dumont (and others) had been using the same outerwear for like 3 years.

last time i saw him i remember thinking "why has he been wearing the same clothes for 3 years? doesn't he get a bunch of other styles from his sponsor?" and then i decided maybe they were his lucky pants or something.

apparently i don't spend enough time perusing new outerwear...
