sigh... some people just don't get Lolla. it's not a music festival in the traditional, let's-go-camping sense... the entire city becomes a music festival. clubs go all night long after the festival closes down for the day and that's the point- to integrate a great festival with the great nightlife Chicago has to offer. it's often over-looked or forgotten, but Chicago has a club scene on par with NYC, LA, and Miama, and better than Vegas (and i live in Vegas). the point is to make it a huge musical and cultural experience, not just a cute little music festival.
if you know anything, you know this is the most exciting music festival in North America. this is my fourth Lolla in a row and i'm losing my fucking mind in anticipation.
