sooo, my brand new blackberry storm crapped out 2 weeks after i got it. took it to a store and they said it qualified to be replaced. well, verizons way of doing this so you can keep your current phone is to charge the new phone to your account, then you ship back the broken one in the same box the new one comes in, and the account is credited. it should all happen in one billing cycle, so you should never even see the charge. well, this is january 9th when this happens, and the charge was not taken off my bill. so between now and then, i called verizon 7 TIMES!!!! and each time they did not help me at all. i wont get into the minor details, but each time i was on the phone for 30 min- 1hr, and each time they had no answer.
so today, i finally asked for a supervisor, and he told me that basically everyone i had talked to before was fucking retarded and they just had to re-enter the credit and it would be applied to my account. he fixed it in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. i cannot even explain or remember how rudely i was treated in the past 4 months. like i was trying to scam verizon, or that i did not remember what had happened and was a stupid customer, etc etc. i literallly cannot even explain how horrible it has been. run around after run around. the one i talked to today before the supervisor actually had the nerve to lecture me about where i physically call around the country when i call different departments. this is because i asked her to transfer me to someone who knew what was going on. she borderline yelled at me that she could not transfer me to rochester NY because she was in virginia blah blah blah omg kill me.
spark notes: got a massive run around from verizon over the past 4 months.
so share your stories so i can have my spirits lifted.
