Pow skis

so basicaly its my first season next year and i gotta get some power skis any suggestions?

i was thinking the armada arg or jj or the line sir francis bacons any one riden them?

you have to give more information about your self physically and experience wise, and what you ski.
I have only rode the bacons out of those and they are sick.....I have no idea why i fucking sold mine still

I have no idea what, based on ur physicality and athletic ability, but if its ur first season, I probably wouldn't get pow skis, u gotta learn how to link turns before u can turn a fat ski, or even ski powder.  Get a softer midfat twin, 85-95 in the waist, then get pow sticks.  The shittier skis u learn to ski pow on, the better u'll be at it, no joke.

well im 5'11 wiegh about 10 stone and been sking for about 7 years so im pretty good u know i mainly ride park on the volkl walls and want to do some backcountry jibing

Get the JJ's in a 185, dopest ski i've ever been on (I weigh 205lbs, about 16.4 stone).  Although it does depend on ur skiing style, if u like to charge go jj, super stable at speed, handles everything including the groomed very well, and if u like the supery surfy, short flowy turns then I'd probably go with the line EP pro, 127 underfoot, rockered tip and tail. both are solid skis, just have different style applications.

None of the skis you mentioned are a like in any way except they are geared more towards powder.

My suggestion for a backcountry jib ski would be something like the hellbent or ep pro. If you are looking for a deep pow ski just to shred on when its real deep then look into the ARG or the Moment Donner Party. A ski that is more for charging and all over would be something like the JJ.

Depends really on what you want to use the ski for. Describe a bit more in detail what you want to ski and will be skiing on them, not just backcountry jib and we can help you a lot more with a decision.

well u know its my first full season out i want a ski that shtreds well in the fresh but i can still ride on the groomers and a ski with a nice snap for doing tree lines. so yer something that with do backcountry jibs, tree lines and a fun ski to shred the powder

I never said they were,  and I'm pretty sure i did say that the two skis were for different skiing style applications.  If he likes to charge go JJ, if he dosen't ski super hard go EP pro, both skis can be used as bc jib skis, I think everyone overrates the ideal usage of the ski, and doesn't consider enough how it meant to be skied when not jibbing. U can go off a jump and stomp a landing on anything, if he skis hard he wouldn't have to go with a super floppy ski  just cause he wants to jib.

the jj's and arg's would be good choices for pow and jibbing. if your going to be doing heavy tree skiing with pow the ARG is an axcellent choice. they can navigate tree's like a dream in pow, way better then the majority of the powder skis on the market. arg's are also really playful in pow and are pretty fun to jib stuff with. the jj would probly be a better choice if you wont be skiing super super deep pow as its a little more versatile, but from whati've heard they still slay pow. i'd think they would be pretty easy throw around aswell. both skis are excellent choices but i guess it depends on how much pow you will be riding.

maybe the 179 k2 hellbents. great for pow and stomping cliffs, but really fun on groomers to.
