Ti-83 calculator question...

Alright, like most people....i've got one of those graphing calculators.
I've got a final later on today, and i need to know how to calculate standard deviation on the calculator, mostly just to save myself some time during the exam. (Yes, it is a stats. class)
Instructions or anything would be much appreciated

Well first you gotta have a set of numbers. You can put those numbers into a List. To do that press STAT, then EDIT. Put your numbers in. Once you have your numbers you can go back to STAT then go CALC and hit 1-Var Stats. This gives you all your info at once. The other way to do it is go to LIST (2nd func STAT) go to MATH then scroll down to stdDev(. Hit that and then put in the list number you made (presumably L1 by either 2nd func 1, or by going back to LIST and under NAMES hit the one that you made your number list as.
