I grew up skiing moguls and almost everyone did a cork 7 or d-spin in their run, but i see pros doin cork 9's in their highlight reels and was wondering.

i guess now it depends on the style, like a really smooth buttery cork 9 would be cooler than a switch hucked 10. its hard to compare them so bluntly but ski movie companies like level 1 dont like hucked big spins there all about slow buttery afterbrangn tricks. ya know what im sayin?

i wouldnt know personally. but i think the general consensus is that they corks are harder than normal spins. except my one friend says he can spin a cork 7 easier than a normal 7 on diving boards, may be different than skis but he says its easier to stay under control. well thats all about i know...

I disagree.
Some people naturally cork their larger spins, some people naturally set them straight. For the people who cork, cork is easier than straight, especially for bigger spins... and vice versa.

I would assume that this is because of the imbalances in ones posture and the way that body weight is distributed in the air. The more air you get the more likely you are to go off axis because of how heavy your head vs. feet are and especially if you have a grab. The way you look over your shoulder could be just enough to set you off axis too.
IDK if that's true, but it's just my conjecture.
