K-horse just has so much acessible BC and even their inbound terrain is better then anything you'll find at whistler or any other mountain I've been to.

I rode kicking horse last season when there was 30cms of fresh then 20cms of fresh and it was pimp. But i went to Revelstoke early this year with shitty conditions so it wasnt great. Kicking horse seemed wayy better.

its not question...revy.

i love kicking horse and think the terrain is unreal but the snow just isnt good enough. its a poor location geographically for snow. revelstoke on the other hand is in possibly the best location for snow which means epic dumps of really good snow. and the terrain is unreal aswell.

I visted both last fall.  I think (if I remember right) someone correct me...

Kicking horse only gets about half the snow.

i went to both this season... revey was by far my favorite, much better snow, uncrowded slopes and legit as fuck terrain!
kicking horse was still sick, but the on hill accom was so lonely and depressing, there is no life at that hill watsoever in my experience... not to say revey is much better in that sense, but its still funner place to be

All depends on the snow, Kicking Horse gets half as much as Reve. 

The towns are so different, golden's a dump and revelstoke is awesome!

With the same snow conditions, Kicking horse is more technically challenging right now, but if they don't have fresh snow for a week, the place is limited and seemed small.

Stay in Revelstoke and make the 2 hour drive over rogers pass.

I went to both a few times this year...

Kicking Horse has more "Extreme Skiing" type terrain that is really easily accessed right off the gondola like sketchy chutes and steep trees, but is often ski'd off unless there is fresh snow. After the sick terrain at the very top it can be a long tiring ski down... but on a good powder day I would definately choose kicking horse over revy just because the terrain is so sick

Revelstoke has a ton of sick trees and easily accessible backcountry access into the catskiing area of the hill where you can always find some fresh tracks.  To access the sicker terrain and cliffs you have to take a little hike or trek but it is well worth it for the quality of the snow. The hill is so big and is never crowded so the trees stay pretty fresh for days after a storm...

i went to K-horse last year and we did a day of heli in the bc...sooo dope...every run looked exactly like that picture...dropped some gnarly bombbss

greely bowl is the sickest. so many lines. good gnar all over. but took 2 hours to hike out of with no skins.
doors 1-4 are super sick too

revy is unbelievable, haven't been to kicking horse though

I rode them both in one trip this year and they were both amazing experiences, definitly visit kicking horse though because it is suuuuch a unique experience especially if you live out east like I do, revelstoke had amazing snow dump like crazy crazy pow but is always clouded, definitly visit both if you have the chance

Golden sucks! I'm in it for the skiing

Kicking Horse has a wide varitey of terrain, it can seem boring, but you have to play around with it. On bad days, I can still find stuff to go and do. It has everything though, cliffs, groomers, bbq's, beer, plenty o bars, steeps, 3 bowls, plenty of chutes.
You got to know where to look.


Revelstoke I have yet to ski, although since I can drive as of this summer, there will be alot more skiing to be had.

unfortunately I couldn't tell ya.
i was gonna head to jackson Hole last year but plans fell through.  from what i've seen they lok similar but I hear JHole doesn't have snow at spring break... (Kicking Horse always has tons)

I've only been to kicking horse (3-4 years ago, so it was still relatively new), but I loved it despite not getting any fresh snow. There is some gnarly terrain accessible from lifts and the gondola. There was no park when I was there, not sure if they have one now.

My 2 brothers have both been to Revelstoke and say it has some of the craziest terrain they have ever seen.

I'd love to live near/work at either one.

We have this little park at Kicking Horse, It consits of very little jumps, acouple boxes, some barrel jibs and a drop down rail. usually set up in january
