well, ppl bust skis all the time on water ramps. Its all a matter of chance, you slap the water pretty hard and sometimes the skis just snap. Big jumps and foam skis = snap. Some people fiberglass their old park skis and that adds a whole lot of durability, but if you are sticking to the single kicker you should be fine
If you do it like once or twice you should be fine but it ruins your bases your edges fall out and they will probably snap eventually unless you fiberglass them
yes it can ruin your skis, like everyone one has said there is a chance of snapping your skis... when i went to lake placid last summer there were several cases of bindings ripping out.
