Getting more bounce out of your tramp?

i have a pretty old trampoline and i don't get very much bounce out of it at all.  when you jump the tarp almost hits the ground below you.   i would like to use  my tramp as a training tool this summer but because its so not bouncy i can't really throw many large tricks.  is there any way to increase the bounce on the tramp?  i heard crossing the springs works but i am skeptic if that would work.   if i have to buy a new tarp and springs so be it.  +K for good answers and please no hate.

Crossing the springs is about the only thing you can do.  You could try to hunt down replacement springs, but I don't know how hard it would be to find them.

Crossing the springs will get you more bounce but over time they will wear faster.

you can actually but springs at home depot and under the "recommended uses" it said trampolines. there was different sizes and weights to compress but they were pretty expensive.

Start with crossing the springs, I have dont it on 2 different tramps and it works great. It will wear the springs faster, but if you only care about it for this summer, you will be golden. I cant think of anything else that would work short of buying new springs. New springs can be picked up for about 4 bucks a piece online. 4*50=200 bucks, almost can get a new tramp for that price.

i just got new springs a few weeks ago, and it makes the trampoline like new. you probably wont need a new bed either.

What do you guys mean about crossing springs?
i had to buy a new tramp as my old one broke, and it sucks ass. soo un bouncy.

should i get some shorter ones to make EXTRA bouncy? or just get the ones that are made for my tramp?

get whatever's made for your tramp. the last thing you want to do is spend money on shorter springs, and find out you cant stretch them out enough to get them on. plus, they would wear out way faster.
trust me on this. i could barely cork 9 with my old springs, but now i can cork 10 easily. im even thinking about going for double corks.

its worth the money.

yeah on mine if you get it wet it gives you more boost. but i've heard of some special springs out there that work super well. idk if they're on the internet but i'll look

to keep it at the bounciest, take it in, in the winter. The weight of the snows is constant pressure and it wears the springs out quickly.

To cross your spring, you litteraly make the spring go from being II to being a X. All you do is to unhook two springs, and reattach them onto the opposite d-rings on the tramp.

it also bounces much better when it's on hard ground rather that grass..  new springs would be a good investment if you use it for training..  probably like $300

I would say buy some new springs and if you don't wanna spend the money cross them, beware that they get really worn but if they are already worn out just cross them because your gonna need new ones soon anyway or a new tramp
